We are Ragepits

How It all Started

For most of my life — through high school, college, and beyond — I kept to myself.
I was that quiet kid, the nerd who didn’t know how to start conversations or build real friendships. Music was always my escape. I started DJing young, producing beats in my room, listening to EDM since I was ten. But even when I went to shows, I was usually standing alone in the back, happy just to be there, but always feeling… unseen.

As I went deeper into the EDM scene, I started meeting people — random chats, group invites, shared energy — but the connections never stuck. Different shows, different faces. That inconsistency hurt more than I realized. I wanted more than a crowd — I wanted a community.

Then one night, everything changed.
At LAN, my partner and I were headbanging hard, just lost in the moment, when a tall, wild-hearted guy named Nic came up and started vibing with us. Next thing I knew, he opened a pit — and it wasn’t chaos, it was connection. In that pit, I met Jaylin, and suddenly, I wasn’t just part of the crowd — I was part of something real.

Jaylin made a small Insta group to share our pit videos, and when I saw those clips, I smiled like I hadn’t in a long time. That night stuck with me. I told Nic and Jaylin that we needed to build on this — a pit crew. A few people became a few more, and before long, RagePits was born.

At first, I thought it would just be a small circle — a few people who love the rush, the chaos, the unity of the pit. But over time, it became something much deeper: a community where no one has to feel alone.

RagePits isn’t just about the pit — it’s about the people.

It’s about building a culture of care, where we watch out for each other inside and outside the venue. Because to keep coming back, to keep giving that energy, we need to be healthy, supported, and seen.

That’s why RagePits follows our version of PLUR — not just Peace, Love, Unity, Respect — but also R.A.G.E. and P.I.T.S.

R.A.G.E. — Respect. Advocacy. Growth. Empathy.
Rage with heart. Build a movement that lifts everyone.
P.I.T.S. — Protection. Intention. Trust. Solidarity.

The pit is where chaos meets care, and energy turns into empathy.

Together, they form the heartbeat of our movement.

Now, when you see someone wearing a RagePits shirt, you know what it means — it’s a beacon. It says, “You belong here.” Whether you want to dive into the pit, headbang from the sidelines, or just soak in the energy — you’re part of the family.

This community is for everyone, every race, every story, every misfit who ever felt left out. You don’t have to love EDM to feel the vibe.

RagePits is about connection, health, mental wellbeing, and shared passion.

We hype each other. We protect each other. We heal through the music — and through each other.

So the next time you’re at a show and you spot that RagePits logo, know this:
That’s your crew.
That’s your home.
That’s you — seen, supported, and celebrated.

Rage-Pits Etiquette

  • Open the pit together — only with people who want to throw down. Consent and shared energy make the pit electric.
  • Build the hype first. Feel the drop, feed the crowd — let the tension rise before the pit explodes.
  • Stay in sync with the music. The beat is your compass — move with it, not against it.
  • Pick people up when they fall. Always. No hesitation. The pit protects its own.
  • If you’re on the pit walls — push back hard. No mercy, but full control. You’re the balance between chaos and safety.
  • Be responsible. If you get hurt or can’t keep going, signal a friend or staff — we’ve got your back.
  • Leave the drinks outside the pit. Spills = slips = injuries. Stay dry, stay safe, stay in rhythm.
  • Don’t use the pit as a shortcut. It’s not a walkway — it’s a zone of focus and flow.
  • Have fun and pit like a maniac. Let go. Be wild. Express. But remember: chaos doesn’t mean careless.

PLUR in and out of the RAVE – That’s RAGEPITS

PLUR for the Pit

  • Peace — Find calm in the chaos; respect personal space and recovery.
  • Love — Care for your community — every person in the pit matters.
  • Unity — The pit is a shared experience; it thrives on mutual trust.
  • Respect — Violence isn’t part of it — aggression without malice, energy without harm.

R.A.G.E. — The Spirit

  • Respect
The pit is sacred chaos. Care for each other even in the storm.
  • Advocacy
Use your voice to push for health, inclusion, and positive energy in the scene.
  • Growth
Turn anger into motion — into healing, creativity, and connection.
  • Empathy
Feel everything, and understand that everyone’s here for their own release.

P.I.T.S. — The Core of Rage

Protection
The pit is wild, but never reckless. We look out for each other, pull people up, and make sure everyone walks away safe.

Intention
You don’t enter the pit to hurt — you enter to release. Every hit, push, and slam carries purpose: to let go, not to harm.

Trust
A good pit runs on unspoken respect. You trust that others feel the rhythm, that they’ll catch you when you fall, that they share the same love for the moment.

Solidarity
We rage together. No matter who you are, where you come from, or how you move — when you’re in the pit, you belong.
